Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the marketing and sales of Bell helicopters and related kits within the Bell Textron Asia region.

You will plan, coordinate and direct business development activities across assigned countries, targeting both military and civil customers and major fleet programs. The role requires a university degree with aviation technical skills, 5+ years in aviation sales, strong business acumen, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum University Degree with Aviation Technical Skills.
• 5+ years of Aviation experience in similar industry, prefer ten (10) + years with proven sales.
• Good business acumen, time management, customer focus and planning skills.
• Aviation Pilot license or A&P in rotary-wing preferred.
• Able to travel when business needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct business development activities in assigned countries.
• Achieve goals of identifying and developing potential military and civil customers, with emphasis on major fleet sales programs.
• Formulate and execute strategies to achieve sales that meet profit and return objectives and market share.
• Oversee and supervise Independent Representatives in assigned countries to ensure coordination and compliance.
• Prepare and submit program sales proposals and customer responses timely and accurately.
• Coordinate with Asian Managers, Legal, Operations, Contracts Administration, Applications Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Commercial Estimating.
• Travel significantly to support Sales and Marketing.
• Provide reports and presentations to senior management on programs and developments.
