Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an experienced Event Manager for the Private Bank Events Team. The role focuses on planning, logistics, and delivery of local and regional client events, with involvement in larger global programs from conception to execution.

You will work with senior leaders to design experiences that are on-brand and culturally attuned, requiring strong Asia market knowledge and operational excellence under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event management.
• Strong problem solving and creative event solutions.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery (planning, logistics, onsite).
• Experience with budgets, vendor negotiation, contracts and invoices.
• Ability to manage risk and compliance as part of event delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and event platforms.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to liaise with senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-touch client events consistent with brand standards.
• Apply Asia knowledge of venues, formats, and cultural nuances.
• Manage end-to-end operations: calendars, budgets, vendor negotiation, contracts, invoices.
• Oversee onsite delivery including speaker and VIP guest management.
• Run event communications via the events platform and follow-up.
• Provide concise updates in team forums and support projects as needed.
• Travel across Asia region to provide on-site support at events.
