Job summary

Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions Technical Excellence team in Asia is seeking a Coverage Specialist to advise on policy wordings and coverage issues across property and casualty risks in the region. The role collaborates with brokers and client teams, with opportunities across Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

You will manage a varied pipeline, draft and review terms, and develop guidance materials to support client outcomes.

Qualifications

2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house roles focusing on re/insurance contracts and policy terms.
Strong technical insurance knowledge across property and casualty product lines.
Excellent written English and ability to draft in a modern, commercial style.

Responsibilities

Manage a varied pipeline of work, including drafting, reviewing, comparing and analysing policy terms, endorsements and enhancements.
Provide guidance on policy wordings and coverage matters to brokers and client teams.
Develop market-leading terms, standardized slips and new product solutions.
Attend broker, carrier and client meetings to advise on specific coverage matters and technical issues.
Collaborate with growth and account teams on coverage issues to support new business and client relationships.
Create guidance materials, tools and resources translating technical insight into practical guidance.
Organise and deliver technical insurance training for brokers and stakeholders.
