Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional work, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent.
• Law degree from a reputable university or college.
• Admitted to practice law with 2 - 6 years of post-admission legal experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize complex issues and ideas clearly and concisely.
• Efficient organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines using pragmatic judgment.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, while also collaborating effectively with other legal team members and global business teams.
• Creative analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Base in Singapore and support AWS Sales and Marketing activities across ASEAN and Asia-Pacific.
• Negotiate strategic enterprise agreements with a focus on ASEAN customers and resellers.
• Provide compliance training and awareness.
• Handle pre-litigation disputes and inquiries.
• Assist with responses to bid proposals/tenders.
• Work proactively on regulatory and policy matters.
• Travel internationally as required.
