Job summary

UMISTRONG PTE. LTD. is seeking an art instructor to plan lessons and guide students in drawing, colouring, painting, and crafts. The role covers oil, acrylic, watercolour, sketching, and clay projects for learners from age 3 to adult.

You will assess progress, prepare classrooms, and ensure a clean, organized learning environment. Weekend and public holiday work is required, with a salary plus incentives on confirmation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Fine Arts is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Creative, friendly, patient and able to engage students.

Responsibilities

• Plan art lessons aligned with learning objectives.
• Develop students' drawing, colouring and painting techniques.
• Teach art activities including oil/acrylic/watercolour, sketching, clay and crafts.
• Instruct students aged 3 to adult.
• Assess and track students' progress.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Planning of art lessons according to students' learning objectives
• Developing students' drawing, colouring and painting techniques and interest in art
• Able to conduct art-related activities such as oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolour painting, sketching, clay, art & craft independently
• Able to teach students of different age group (from age 3 to adult)
• Assess students' learning progress
• Prepare the classroom and set up equipment / materials prior every lessons
• Perform daily housekeeping to keep the venue clean & tidy especially after every classes
• Any other duties as assigned by superior
