Job summary

VISUAL ARTS CENTRE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Fine Arts Teacher to lead engaging classes for children, teens, and adults in a vibrant studio setting.

You will cover drawing, watercolour, oil, and acrylic painting while tailoring lessons to each student’s level and providing live demonstrations. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time engagement, weekend availability, and opportunities to contribute to exhibitions and workshops.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical proficiency in traditional art mediums, particularly: Drawing & Sketching, Watercolour Painting, Oil Painting
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred, but passionate emerging educators are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic when working with students of different ages.
  • Able to demonstrate art techniques confidently during lessons.
  • Comfortable teaching both individual and small group classes.
  • Some availability to work on weekends, selected day/evening schedules.

Fine Arts Teacher (Full-Time / Part-Time)


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct engaging and inspiring art classes for children, teens, and adults.

  • Teach traditional fine art techniques in: Drawing & Sketching / Watercolour Painting / Oil Painting / Acrylic Painting

  • Guide students according to their individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

  • Demonstrate techniques through live drawing and painting demonstrations.

  • Prepare lesson plans and class materials.

  • Encourage creativity while building strong technical foundations.

  • Provide constructive feedback and support students in developing their artistic abilities.
