Job summary

HIART PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Art Teacher to conduct professional art lessons tailored to students’ objectives. Responsibilities include assessing progress, communicating with parents, and managing diverse age groups.

The ideal candidate has a minimum diploma in Fine Art and experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and will be required to work on weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Fine Art or equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Work on weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Art lesson professionally according to student’s learning objectives.
• Assess student’s learning progress.
• Continual communication and feedback to parents on student’s performance.
• Able to handle students of different age groups.
• Create a conducive environment to enhance learning.
• Demonstrate art techniques such as drawing, sketching and painting.
• Understand the versatility of paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting, monoprinting.
• Knows the fundamentals and different approaches to drawing media technique.
