Job summary

Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Architecture Design Coordinator Manager to support the Manager in reports, documentation, and coordinating architectural works.

You will lead a team, liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to interpret drawings, ensure compliance with URA/BCA, and drive on-site quality.

Fluency in Mandarin is beneficial for coordinating Mandarin-speaking partners and ensuring project alignment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture with 8+ years' managerial experience.
• Knowledge of local submission and authority processes (URA, BCA, or local equivalents).
• Meticulous, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates will be added advantage

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in preparing reports and managing documentation.
• Lead a team of Design Coordinator, Architecture to manage architectural works in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of architectural drawings and details.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes of practice, and company standards.
• Plan, organise and supervise production of construction drawings including shop drawings submissions and approvals.
• Provide technical support to the site team and address discrepancies or design issues during construction.
• Monitor architectural progress on-site and resolve coordination issues involving structural, M&E, and ID trades.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet architectural requirements.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations.
