Job summary

You will oversee a team of Design/Coordination Engineers, liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance and timely approvals. The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of local codes, and proactive

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in construction or engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, authority regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in Design for Safety for Professionals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Design/Coordination Engineers to align drawings with consultants and authorities.
• Serve as liaison between consultants, clients, contractors and authorities on design matters.
• Guide preparation of shop drawings, materials approvals, and method statements.
• Coordinate and track design submissions to local authorities for compliance.
• Resolve design/technical issues with Architecture, M&E teams, consultants, and authorities.
• Raise RFAs/RFIs to obtain design clarification.
• Initiate and evaluate value engineering proposals to improve cost, safety, constructability.
