Job summary

TYPE 0 ARCHITECTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a creative Architectural Designer to join our growing team. You will translate design concepts into detailed drawings and 3D models, collaborating with project managers and licensed architects.

The ideal candidate has strong drafting skills, proficiency in CAD/BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp), and a solid understanding of local zoning requirements. A strong portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an architectural firm or design-build company.
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM software, especially Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong design portfolio showing technical drawing, 3D modeling, and creativity.
• Strong communication skills for client-facing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design layouts, 2D blueprints, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Collaborate with clients and senior architects to define goals, budgets, and design aesthetics.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, ADA guidelines, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to integrate structural and MEP systems into the design.
• Prepare and modify construction documents, materials specifications, and presentation boards for client pitches.
• Conduct site visits during the construction phase to assist in tracking progress and resolving design discrepancies.
