Job summary

YAP CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an Architectural Designer to ensure design compliance and prepare detailed drawings for project approvals. You will collaborate with architects and use AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Enscape to deliver creative, functional plans on schedule.

Candidates should hold a degree in architecture and have 3–6 years of practical experience, with proficiency in listed software. Interior design experience is an advantage for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure architectural designs comply with local building codes and regulations throughout project development
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and documentation to support project submissions and approvals
• Collaborate with architects to develop design concepts and technical details
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit, V-Ray, and Enscape to produce accurate and visually compelling architectural plans
• Manage submission requirements and processes to secure timely project approvals
• Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision
• Deliver creative and functional architectural solutions by applying strong design skills

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a recognized Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Possess 3 to 6 years of practical experience as an Architectural Designer
• Demonstrate proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Enscape
• Manage assigned work effectively according to project requirements and timelines.
