Job summary

PaxOcean in Singapore seeks a detail design engineer responsible for architectural outfitting and safety design, ensuring compliance with Class and technical specifications within the project schedule.

You will deliver design drawings, prepare layouts, manage space, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines while liaising with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA and Cadmatic.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver architectural outfitting and safety design drawings per class and technical specs.
• Support project leads and mentors; coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare compartment layouts, manage space, and liaise with suppliers/contractors.
• Create weight reports (weight and center of gravity) and update as needed.
• Ensure drawings meet project plans and on-schedule delivery.
• Interact with production on trouble shooting and on-site visits when required.
