Job summary

Emerald Project Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Architectural Interior Designer to bridge design concepts and construction execution in renovation projects in Singapore. You will maximize space planning while managing technical and regulatory aspects on active sites.

You will develop concepts, prepare detailed drawings, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or 3ds Max.
• Ability to develop design concepts and detailed drawings.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Site coordination experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawing sets with joinery, ceiling and M&E layouts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for interior modifications.
• Source finishes and manage BOQ within budget.

Job description

Role Objective:

We are looking for an Architectural Interior Designer who can seamlessly bridge the gap between design concepts and construction execution. You will be responsible for maximizing space planning while managing the technical, regulatory, and hands-on aspects of active renovation worksites

Key Responsibilities

1. Spatial Design & Concept Development: Translate client requirements into practical space planning, 3D renderings, and layout proposals.

1. Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive drawing sets using AutoCAD or Revit. This includes detailed drawings for joinery, cabinetry, ceiling/lighting plans, and M&E layout coordination

1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all proposed interior modifications comply with authority regulations

1. Material & Vendor Management: Source interior finishes, built elements, and hardware. Prepare customized quotes and bill of quantities (BOQ) within client budgets.

1. Site Supervision & Coordination: Conduct regular site reviews to manage renovation progress, monitor craftsmanship standards, and solve technical clashes alongside main contractors and sub-contractors.

1. Client Management: Manage progress updates and communications regarding variations and project timelines directly with clients.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.

1. Able to prepare design concepts, detailed drawings and material selections

1. Capable of coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers

1. Site coordination experience is preferred
