Job summary

THI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Design Coordination Specialist to bridge clients and consultants, ensuring compliance with Singapore building codes for structural and architectural projects.

You will coordinate submissions, apply BCA guidelines, and work with AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla, while engaging with stakeholders to meet deadlines and site visits.

Knowledge of LTA/MRT projects is a plus; five-day week; office-based with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Singapore building codes and standards.
• Familiarity with BCA submission processes.
• Experience with LTA/MRT or main contractor projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical design and drawing submissions between clients and consultants to ensure timely and accurate delivery for project approvals.
• Apply architectural detailing, drawings, specifications, and detailing to support project development and compliance.
• Utilise AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla to produce and review structural and architectural drawings.
• Interpret and apply Singapore building standards and Eurocode guidelines to design and calculations.

Job Summary

You will coordinate technical design and drawing submissions between clients and consultants, ensuring compliance with Singapore building codes and project requirements. This role supports structural and architectural design efforts for engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical design and drawing submissions between clients and consultants to ensure timely and accurate delivery for project approvals
• Apply expertise in architectural design, drawing, specifications, and detailing to support project development and compliance
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla software to produce and review structural and architectural drawings
• Interpret and apply Eurocode and BCA guidelines to structural steel and metal works design and calculations
• Conduct site visits as necessary to verify design implementation and resolve technical issues
• Manage communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to maintain alignment and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate familiarity with architectural detailing, construction methods, and Singapore building practices to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
• Adapt work processes to meet tight project timelines and deliverables
• Leverage experience with LTA, MRT, or main contractor projects to enhance project execution and coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in LTA, MRT, or main contractor projects is advantageous
