Job summary

AMS Reliance Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a competent Architectural Draughtsman to support our building and construction projects. The successful candidate will prepare, review and update architectural drawings and technical documentation to support planning, coordination and construction activities.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Revit or BIM. You will coordinate with project teams, attend site inspections and ensure drawings comply with Singapore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting or construction-related technical drawing work.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting is essential.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Revit or BIM software will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction detailing and site construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details using AutoCAD.
• Develop and revise interior drawings, working drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants and site supervisors on drawing requirements and revisions.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records and technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and construction progress.

Job Description

AMS Reliance Pte Ltd is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Architectural Draughtsman to support our building and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and updating architectural drawings, and technical documentation to support project planning, coordination and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details and technical layouts using AutoCAD.

2. Develop and revise interior drawings, working drawings and as-built drawings according to project specifications.

3. Interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings to ensure accurate drafting and coordination.

4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants and site supervisors on drawing requirements and revisions.

5. Assist in identifying drawing discrepancies and resolving technical coordination issues.

6. Prepare detailed construction drawings for site execution, material planning and project documentation.

7. Update drawings according to site conditions, consultant comments and approved design changes.

8. Maintain proper drawing registers, revision records and technical documentation.

9. Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions, measurements and construction progress.

10. Ensure drawings comply with applicable building regulations, construction standards and project specifications.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting or construction-related technical drawing work.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting is essential.

4. Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Revit or BIM software will be an added advantage.

9. Good attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

10. Willing to attend site inspections and project coordination meetings when required.
