Job summary

Architects SG LLP, a Singapore-based architecture practice, is seeking a Drafter to translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings using Revit, SketchUp and AutoCAD. You will develop floor plans, elevations and sections, ensuring compliance with local codes while supporting project delivery.

You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders to uphold quality, contribute to drafting standards, and mentor junior drafters to strengthen the team’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture from a recognized polytechnic or BCA.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and AutoCAD software.
• Passion and interest in architectural work and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings using CAD and BIM tools.
• Produce architectural plans including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Contribute to designing standards, templates and drafting processes.
• Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafters to build team capability.
• Deliver work that meets project requirements and quality standards.

About the role

You will assist architects and the project team by producing detailed technical drawings and architectural plans, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting project delivery through collaboration and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Translate architects' conceptual designs into accurate, detailed technical drawings using CAD and BIM software to support architectural projects
• Produce architectural plans including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings to meet project specifications
• Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to ensure designs comply with technical and regulatory requirements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local statutory regulations and building codes to ensure compliance in all drawings
• Contribute to developing design standards, templates, and processes to improve drafting efficiency and quality
• Manage multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables
• Provide support and mentorship to junior drafters to enhance team capability and knowledge sharing
• Demonstrate responsibility and commitment by delivering work that meets project requirements and quality standards
