Job summary

CHENG JI BUILDER PTE. LTD. invites an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our project teams in Singapore.

You will support the Project Manager by tracking progress, interpreting drawings, and aligning architectural work with the master schedule. You will handle coordination with subcontractors, plan materials and deliveries, and prepare submission documents for consultants. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and MS Project is essential, with bilingual English and Mandarin to liaise with

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience as Architectural Drafter in maincon companies.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Project and related digital tools.
Strong communication and analytical skills; able to interact with people at all levels.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

Responsibilities

Report to Project Manager the progress of architectural work.
Interpret construction drawings for discrepancies and propose alternative materials/work methods for architectural work.
Understand specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of work.
Develop a schedule program for the commencement and completion of all architectural works to tie in with master schedule.
Coordinate, monitor and control Architectural subcontractor's progress and quality of work, and ensure quality assurance.
Coordinate subcontractors' work to avoid conflicts among different subcontractors.
Liaise with suppliers on items needed for the project and plan delivery schedule; ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
Submit materials, shop drawings and method statements to consultants for approval before commencement of work.
Arrange for architectural samples, testing for consultant's approval; liaise with consultants to resolve technical and detailing issues.
Assist Project Manager in compiling handing-over documents including as-built drawings.
