Job summary

VRL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a talented architect to support Directors in design development and project management from concept through construction, coordinating client reviews and site activities.

You will lead design concepts with AutoCAD and SketchUp, manage submissions to authorities, and ensure compliance with Singapore codes and ISO standards while delivering multiple projects on time and to quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp for architectural layouts.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Familiarity with ISO standards for quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Directors in managing design and drafting submissions for assigned projects.
• Develop design concepts and layouts using AutoCAD and SketchUp for client reviews.
• Lead contract administration, site visits, and coordination meetings.
• Present project designs to clients and conduct design workshops.
• Apply Singapore codes and regulations to ensure approvals.
• Coordinate construction phases and monitor progress to meet timelines.
• Prepare submission forms, drawings, floor area calculations, and presentation materials for authorities.
• Maintain drafting templates in line with ISO standards for consistency.
• Coordinate project implementation and site activities with stakeholders.
• Perform other duties related to design and project management as directed.
