Job summary

SHIN KHAI CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Architectural cum Interior Coordinator in Singapore to lead on-site coordination of architectural and interior finishing works.

The role focuses on ensuring proper site execution, quality workmanship and timely completion in line with approved drawings and project specifications. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Singapore's building construction industry, with strong knowledge of interior fit-out works

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Singapore's building construction industry.
• Knowledge of architectural construction methods and interior fit-out finishing details.
• Able to interpret architectural and interior drawings.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise architectural and interior finishing works on construction sites.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, engineers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical and site issues.
• Oversee interior finishing works, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, joinery and other architectural finishes.
• Coordinate architectural and interior works with structural and M&E installations to prevent clashes and rework.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, workmanship, material deliveries and installation schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings, quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate material samples, mock-ups, inspections and approval processes.
• Identify and resolve site discrepancies, defects and coordination issues.
• Assist with defect rectification, final inspections, handover and project close‑out documentation.

About the role

About you

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.


• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities effectively.
