CHINA HARBOUR ENGINEERING COMPANY LTD Singapore Branch is seeking an experienced Architectural Coordination professional to oversee multi-project design coordination, submissions, and construction-stage support. The role requires strong leadership in design management, cross-team collaboration, and regulatory submissions.

The successful candidate will manage stakeholders across consultants, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring design intent and buildability align with cost and sequencing,

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural coordination, design management, or project delivery.
• Familiar with authority submission processes and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in a dynamic project environment.
• Experience in large-scale and complex building projects advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent project timelines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing architectural design coordination across multiple projects during design, submission, tender, and construction stages.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve design, technical, and site-related issues.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical details for compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.
• Support authority submissions, approvals, and coordination with relevant agencies.
• Monitor design progress, deliverables, and submission timelines per project master programmes.
• Ensure alignment between design intent, buildability, cost considerations, and construction sequencing.
• Attend technical meetings, coordination meetings, and site inspections to facilitate project progress and issue resolution.
• Track outstanding design and coordination matters and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of design management systems, trackers, and workflow processes.
• Assist in mentoring and coordinating junior architectural team members where required.
• Liaise closely with project management and site teams to ensure smooth execution and coordination during construction.
