Job summary

PARK + ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Architect to lead early-stage brief development, coordinate design information, and drive tender and construction documentation.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and timely project delivery. The role requires a strong portfolio, team spirit, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning design, approvals, site visits, and contract

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Able to work within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia).
• Strong Portfolio.
• Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief.
• Developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses.
• Preparing planning applications and other regulatory application procedures.
• Preparing design proposals using CAD and traditional drawing methods.
• Assisting in the detailed design process and coordinating design information.
• Preparing/updating tender documentation and construction drawings.
• Liaising with authorities to obtain statutory approval.
• Attending site visits and recording minutes/discussions
• Assisting project architect in coordinating site issues
• Producing and analysing detailed specifications for materials or processes for construction
• Understanding how design aspects influence performance and function
• Co-ordinating and liaising with consultants
• Advising clients on procuring appropriate contracts
• Leading tender documentation and construction drawings preparation
• Assisting in administering contracts and project certifications
• Obtaining feedback from clients
• Making site visits to check progress and ensure timelines
• Solving problems during building/construction
• Carrying out defect inspections.
