Job summary

ID ARCHITECTS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Architectural Assistant to support across design development, documentation, tendering, and site supervision for diverse projects including Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Residential sectors.

You will liaise with clients, consultants and authorities, ensuring design intent and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent from recognised universities.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.
• Knowledge of architectural design principles, space planning, and construction methodology.
• Understanding of architectural detailing and material applications.
• Familiarity with local Building Codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
• Knowledge of tendering procedures, contract documentation, and basic contract administration.
• Understanding of project delivery processes from design development to construction stage.
• Awareness of industry standards and best practices in architectural projects.
• Strong design development and architectural documentation skills.
• Ability to produce and coordinate drawings from conceptual design through design development.
• Effective project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants.
• Time management and organisational skills to handle multiple projects.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in architectural software; BIM skills (Revit and/or Archicad) are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptual design, schematic design, and design development stages.
• Prepare architectural drawings, details, and documentation.
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Assist in contract administration, tender preparation, and tender evaluation.
• Support site supervision to ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulations.
• Work closely with the project's Associate Director during design development and implementation.
• Participate in project meetings and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
