Job summary

BNL Services Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Arborist to lead tree health assessment and pruning programs in outdoor environments in Singapore. The role requires safety-minded field work, coordination with contractors, and reporting to management.

You will inspect trees, assess risks, and craft remedies to maintain urban tree health and conservation. The candidate should be ISA certified with at least 5 years of field experience, and hold a recognised degree.

Qualifications

• English-speaking Certified Arborist.
• ISA Certified arborist with 5 years of related field work.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Others or equivalent.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of a comprehensive Tree Assessment Report.
• Attend to urgent and emergency tree matters after working hours.
• Conduct tree inspection and prescribe remedies for tree health problems.
• Carry out secondary inspection and the knowledge of tools such as resistograph, PICUS and generating reports and the recommendations.
• Implement tree pruning and maintenance programme with term contractors and supervisors.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on arboriculture matters.
• Supervise staff to ensure correct tree pruning and cutting methods are being applied.

Job Overview

An Arborist executes tree care management programmes for trees and palms. He/She conducts tree inspection and risk assessment and prescribes remedies for tree health problems. He/She assist in the preparation of tree assessment reports to management for decision-making. The Arborist enjoys the great outdoors, being in nature and is passionate about tree protection and conservation. He/She must be willing to work beyond official hours to respond to tree emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of a comprehensive Tree Assessment Report.
