Job summary

Ctm Landscape in Singapore seeks a capable landscapeworker to perform a range of outdoor tree and landscape tasks. You will inspect trees for defects, prep sites, and support crews with pruning, removal, planting, and transplanting.

Successful candidates will assist with excavation, tree maintenance, and pest or disease observations, reporting issues to supervision and following safety protocols. This role requires physical work and adherence to instructions on site.

Job description

Main dutiesand responsibilities:

Landscapeworker shall perform the following duties.

1. TreeInspection & Work Preparation

• Check trees for visible defects such as deadbranches, cracks, cavities, decay or unusual leaning.
• Check the work area for hazards.
• Set up the work zone, barriers and warningsigns.
• Report unsafe trees or conditions to thesupervisor/arborist.

2. TreePruning

• Remove dead, damaged or specified branches.
• Carry out pruning according to workinstructions.

3. TreeRemoval

• Assist with removal of unsafe or designatedtrees.
• Assist with ropes, rigging and lowering brancheswhere trained.

4. TreePlanting & Transplanting

• Prepare planting holes.
• Handle root balls carefully.
• Plant trees at the correct level.
• Install stakes/supports where required.
• Water and mulch newly planted trees.
• Assist with tree transplanting operations.

5.Excavation Work

• Dig the soil for tree planting, transplantingroots and stump removal works.
• Check for underground services and report tosupervisors.
• Use excavator, auger or other machinery onlywhen trained and authorized.

6. Tree Maintenance

• Mulching, fertilizing, weeding, etc….

7. Pest& Disease Observation

• Look for insects, fungi, abnormal leaves andother signs of tree problems.
• Report findings to the supervisor/arborist.
