Job summary

MISUMI South East Asia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounts Receivable to own credit risk, drive collections performance and continually improve AR processes within a lean finance team.

You will collaborate with Sales and customers, work closely with the Finance Manager and shape credit decisions, collections strategies and cash flow controls.

The role combines hands-on AR operations with process optimisation, data analysis and coaching of junior team members to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in AR and credit control is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer payment behaviour and credit exposure to propose credit facilities or limits.
• Monitor overdue accounts and lead collection strategies.
• Analyse AR ageing and payment trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare actionable management reports with recommendations.
• Coach junior AR staff and support day-to-day operations.
