Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced AR & Credit Controller to oversee daily AR operations, manage collections, and ensure accurate reconciliations.

The role focuses on credit reviews, risk management, and strengthening internal controls within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in AR/credit control, hands-on SAP and Excel expertise, and a proven track record of process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AR & Credit Control with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on experience in AR operations, customer collections, ageing analysis, and reconciliation.
• Experience conducting customer credit reviews and recommending credit limits and risk actions.
• Solid knowledge of SAP and Excel; proven in leading process improvements and digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AR operations and ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Review month-end closings and maintain accuracy of AR records.
• Monitor AR performance, assess risks, and enforce internal controls.
• Conduct customer credit reviews and set appropriate credit facilities and limits.
• Manage overdue accounts and drive collection strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales to balance growth with credit risk management.
• Analyze ageing reports and payment trends to identify improvements.
• Prepare management reports with actionable recommendations.
• Drive automation and digitalisation to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support negotiations on complex collections and disputes.
• Coach junior staff and assist workload planning.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager in overseeing daily Accounts Receivable operations.
• Manage timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, customer receipts, and account reconciliations.
• Review month-end closing activities and maintain the accuracy and integrity of AR records.
• Monitor AR performance, identify operational risks, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Conduct customer credit reviews, assess financial standing, and evaluate credit exposure.
• Review and recommend customer credit facilities and credit limit revisions for management approval.
• Manage overdue accounts and implement effective collection and recovery strategies.
• Partner with Sales teams to balance business growth objectives with sound credit risk management practices.
• Analyse AR ageing reports, collection performance, and payment trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and digitalisation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve collection and credit-related matters.
• Support negotiations involving complex collection issues and customer disputes.
• Coach and guide junior team members while supporting workload planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 yearsof experience inAR & Credit Control, withat least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience inAR operations, customer collections, AR ageing analysis, payment trend analysis, customer account reconciliation, and credit control.
• Experience conductingcustomer credit reviews, analysing financial statements, and recommending credit limits and risk management actions.
• Strong knowledge ofSAP & Microsoft Excel.
• Proven experience in leading process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
