Singapore Institute of Technology is seeking a Research Engineer for a new Research Centre in Animal Feed. The role covers feed production, testing, and development from formulation through to finished feed. You will contribute to hands-on operations, safety compliance and data generation for feed and ingredient testing.

The position emphasises clean execution of operations, mentoring of technical staff, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver research outputs.

Formación

• Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Aquaculture, Chemical/Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in feed milling, extrusion processing, or laboratory analysis is advantageous.
• Strong hands-on, problem-solving and team-leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and ensure uninterrupted feed mill operations for R&D, pilot, training and service activities.
• Oversee formulation execution, extrusion, drying, coating and quality control.
• Establish and maintain operational standards for formulation, processing and QA/QC.
• Support training and upskilling of staff and transfer of know-how.
• Collaborate with Centre Director on production planning and external engagements.
