Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive fullstack software engineering with 3+ years in a lead/architect role.
• Proven experience building enterprise production systems with modern backend and frontend frameworks.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, secure SDLC practices, and API gateway patterns.
• Financial services or fintech exposure is advantageous; ISO 27001:2022 exposure is helpful.
• Experience managing software development vendors or third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture, technology stack decisions, and API standards across all apps.
• Lead hands-on fullstack development; coding is expected.
• Oversee SDLC governance, CI/CD, and security controls.
• Mentor and guide the applications team; operate as a player-manager.
• Manage sprint delivery, backlog prioritisation, and vendor oversight.
• Conduct code reviews and PR approvals to ensure quality and security.
• Provide 24x7 on-call incident response support.
