Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD is seeking an Application Engineer to deliver technical support for the application and integration of its products across Asia. You will assist customers with commissioning, troubleshooting, and product demonstrations, and you will develop training materials and technical notes.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Physics, with programming in C/C++ and C#, plus knowledge of control theory. Travel within Asia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or equivalent.
• Good programming skills in C/C++ and C#.
• Knowledge of control/regulation theory.
• Additional programming knowledge such as MATLAB or Python would be an advantage.
• Experience in mechatronics or industrial machine design would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
• Customer-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and training to customers and regional subsidiaries.
• Assist customers with the application and integration of products into their machines and systems.
• Troubleshoot technical and application issues and recommend suitable solutions.
• Perform product commissioning, testing and demonstrations.
• Develop and update technical notes, training materials and documentation.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical information when required.
• Develop best practices for the use and application of products.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
• Travel within Asia for customer support and training when required.
