Job summary

re-zoo-me seeks a software developer to optimize applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades. You will contribute to managing UAT and demonstrate prototypes and completed applications.

You will document development processes and stay current with web and mobile technologies. The role requires at least 3 years in development, deployment and support, and proficiency in Java, .NET, Python or PHP, with knowledge of databases, APIs and Azure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in application development, deployment, and support.
• Proficient in programming languages (Java, .NET, Python, PHP).
• Knowledge of databases and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
• Aligned with the purpose and direction of the Church.

Responsibilities

• Optimize applications by integrating new technologies and upgrading.
• Contribute to managing UAT and demonstrate prototypes and completed applications.
• Generate ideas for software innovation based on market trends.
• Document development processes, procedures and application version histories.
• Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies.
• Develop and code systems and applications, including Church/Event/Campus management systems.
• Organize and plan project tasks and schedules.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and key participants.
• Liaise with event committee members for event requirements of the Church.
• Assist in outline workflow diagram during requirement gathering.
