Job summary

AparTechnologies Pte Ltd is seeking a Trade Support / Middle Office professional to support APAC equity derivatives, swaps, and cash products. You will manage trade capture, lifecycle events, and reconciliations while servicing clients across APAC markets.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, Operations, and Tech teams to resolve booking issues, maintain strong controls, and drive process improvements. Strong Excel, Bloomberg, and SQL skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline with investment banking experience.
• 3–8 years of Trade Support / Middle Office experience across APAC Equity Derivatives, Swaps, and Cash products.
• Manage trade capture, lifecycle events, reconciliations, corporate actions, and client servicing.
• Support Sales & Trading by investigating booking issues, breaks, exceptions, and queries.
• Ensure timely resolution of trade discrepancies with strong controls and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, Credit, Operations, Technology, and external counterparties to ensure smooth trade processing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of end-to-end trade lifecycle and front-to-back workflows.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and control enhancements to reduce operational risk.
• Monitor operational risks and P&L impact, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job description

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline with relevant Investment Banking experience.
2. 3–8 years of Trade Support / Middle Office experience supporting APAC Equity Derivatives, Swaps, and Cash products.
3. Manage trade capture, trade lifecycle events, reconciliations, corporate actions, and client servicing across APAC markets.
4. Support Sales & Trading desks by investigating booking issues, trade breaks, exceptions, and operational queries.
5. Ensure timely resolution of trade discrepancies while maintaining strong operational controls and risk management.
6. Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, Credit, Operations, Technology, and external counterparties to ensure smooth trade processing.
7. Demonstrate strong knowledge of equity derivatives, end-to-end trade lifecycle, and front-to-back operational workflows.
8. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and control enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
9. Monitor operational risks, understand P&L impact, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
10. Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a high-pressure environment.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications; knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Corporate Actions, VBA, and SQL is advantageous.
