Job summary

All Eights (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an Application Specialist to provide prompt technical support for product applications and perform equipment evaluations. You will partner with the sales team for impactful product demonstrations and deliver hands-on training to customers to ensure safe and effective operation.

The role requires a biomedical sciences or medical technology qualification with at least 2 years of experience, and a proactive, analytical problem-solver mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience as an Application Specialist or Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and effective support for customer inquiries related to product application, including troubleshooting and identifying root causes to minimize downtime and improve turnaround time.
• Collaborate with sales to deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enable sales closure.
• Conduct in-depth product training for customers, ensuring users are confident, competent, and able to operate products safely and effectively.
• Perform evaluations and validations of kits/instruments per laboratory and industry standards; prepare and submit reports timely.
• Stay up-to-date with product developments and improvements through self-learning to maintain high technical proficiency.
