Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Application Project Manager to drive enterprise application initiatives across the full SDLC in Singapore. You will collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and support staff to deliver requirements, designs, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Application Project Manager to manage enterprise application initiatives across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from business requirements and technical specification through implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous enhancement.

The role will work closely with business users, technical teams, vendors, and support teams to address operational pain points, manage application changes, and ensure systems remain stable, compliant, and fit for business needs.

• Job Type: Contract
• Salary Package: Up to $9k (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Manage application projects and enhancements across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Engage business users to understand existing process gaps, system pain points, operational issues, and enhancement requirements.
• Develop and review Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and other project documentation.
• Work closely with technical teams and vendors to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Coordinate and monitor development, SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and production implementation activities.
• Manage ongoing application maintenance and production support, ensuring incidents and system issues are tracked and resolved within agreed timelines.
• Manage Service Requests (SRs), change requests, system enhancements, defects, and operational support activities.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams on root-cause analysis and resolution of application issues.
• Support remediation of audit findings, security observations, compliance gaps, and application control issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and closure of audit/action items within agreed timelines.
• Maintain system documentation, operating procedures, user guides, change records, and project artefacts.
• Support and administer solutions built on Microsoft SharePoint, including workflows, document management, access requirements, and application enhancements where applicable.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project discussions, status reviews, and requirement workshops.
• Ensure smooth handover to BAU/support teams following implementation.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT, or related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, business systems, application delivery, or a related role.
• Strong experience across the full SDLC.
• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing BRDs, functional specifications, and/or technical requirement documents.
• Good understanding of application development, system integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
• Experience handling Service Requests, change requests, incidents, application enhancements, and BAU support.
• Experience supporting audit findings, compliance remediation, or security-related application improvements.
• Exposure to Microsoft SharePoint and enterprise collaboration/document-management platforms would be advantageous.
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
