Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp Singapore seeks a capable engineer to provide application solutions and design electromechanical and control systems, supporting sales growth and project management.

You will draft electrical diagrams, perform product sizing for actuators and SSD drives, prepare BOMs and costings, and coordinate drawings on the server, while collaborating closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering field (electromechanical/electrical/automation or control).
• Min. 5 years’ experience in electromechanical and SSD drive product design, sales support or business development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals for electromechanical or inverter drive control systems.
• Draft electrical diagrams and piping layouts.
• Draft electrical panel layouts.
• Product sizing for electromechanical actuators and SSD drives.
• Prepare design calculations, BOMs and user manuals.
• Prepare costing calculations and quotations.
• Maintain updated server-based drawings/documents.
• Prepare test procedures/reports per design requirements.
• Design simple hydraulic systems under guidance.
• Draft simple assembly drawings of HPUs.
• Coordinate projects and manage project activities.
• Troubleshoot at customer sites as needed.
• Provide technical support to the sales team.

Position Summary

Provide application solutions to customer, and conduct design activities to improve or generate new systems (focused on electromechanical and control system), applications and processes to support sales growth,and also involve in project management. Work closely with sales team to explore new business opportunities and grow business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the technical proposal of electromechanical or inverter drive control system according to customer inquiry.
• Draft electrical diagram drawing and piping layout.
• Draft electrical panel layout drawing.
• Product sizing of electromechanical actuator and SSD drive.
• Provide / prepare design calculation, BOM and user manual.
• Prepare costing calculation, quotation.
• Keep all the material saved on server to the latest version.
• Filing of drawings/documents on server.
• Prepare test procedure / report in accordance to design requirement.
• Able to design simple hydraulic system with the guidance.
• Draft the simple assembly drawings of HPU.
• Project coordination and project management.
• Trouble shooting on customer end as required.
• Provide technical support to sales team.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Degree in electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or Control Engineering or relevant
• Min. 5 years’ experience on electromechanical and SSD drive product related design, sales support, business development or relevant works

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Skilled on AutoCAD and 3D software
• Skilled on PLC or other related programing
• Good knowledge on electrical components, EM, VFD drive and PLC
• Preferably with basic knowledge on hydraulic system and pneumatic system
• Good in learning, positive attitude and strong team player
• Ability of new business development and commercial thinking
