Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks a senior mechanical/electrical solution engineer to lead end-to-end genset enclosure design for major Data Center projects in APAC. You will define technical scope, coordinate with suppliers, and deliver detailed engineering drawings and documentation.

The candidate should have 5+ years in the diesel genset industry, strong CAD skills, and the ability to integrate electrical and mechanical disciplines. Travel for onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• University studies in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 5+ years in the diesel engine/generator industry with proven delivery.
• Expertise in electrical or mechanical genset systems, and cross-disciplinary capability.
• Strong engineering calculations for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in developing and reviewing technical documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop electrical and mechanical system requirements for genset enclosures.
• Deliver end-to-end design solutions with drawings and documentation.
• Review technical docs (schematics, P&IDs, datasheets) for compliance.
• Coordinate with factories and suppliers to finalise scope and proposals.
• Travel overseas on business when required and support project delivery.
