Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cost of sales variances and prepare commentary for monthly and weekly business reviews, translating financial data into clear insights for APJC leadership.
• Build and maintain scalable financial models and forecasts for AWS Global Services APJC cost management, leveraging SQL to extract and validate data from Redshift and other financial systems.
• Partner with area finance teams and business leaders across multiple countries on headcount planning, operational spend decisions, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Proactively audit reporting accuracy by diving into data sources, identifying root causes of discrepancies, and implementing solutions to ensure high standards of financial reporting.
• Share findings with senior leaders to influence data-driven decisions and mentor junior team members.
