Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience
• 5+ years of applying KPIs to analyses experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses, variance commentary, and supporting materials for reviews
• Develop and improve recurring metrics, KPI tracking, and ad‑hoc analyses for the Startup Sales finance team
• Partner with stakeholders across Startup Sales, BD, and Marketing to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and deliver timely financial insights
• Contribute to planning and forecasting processes — support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles including data gathering, model updates, and scenario analysis
• Leverage AI and automation tools — use generative AI, agentic assistants, and automation solutions to streamline recurring finance tasks such as data extraction, variance analysis, and narrative generation
• Identify and elevate issues proactively — flag data discrepancies, risks, or emerging trends to senior team members with recommended actions
• Drive process improvements — look for opportunities to automate, simplify, or improve the accuracy of recurring financial processes
