Job summary

AMD, a leading technology company, is seeking an Regional Compliance Operations Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan. Based in Singapore, you will drive HR compliance, governance, and operational transformation across the region, coordinating with Legal, Payroll, HR Services and external vendors.

You will shape regional governance standards, manage audits, and lead change management initiatives while balancing strategic objectives with execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR operations or employment law.
• Experience supporting multiple APJ countries and audit practices.
• Experience leading regional compliance programs and governance reviews.
• Strong stakeholder management across HR, Legal, Payroll and leadership.
• Experience with ServiceNow and HR information systems.
• Greater China exposure preferred.
• Employee relations experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor and employment law changes across APJ and coordinate timely implementations.
• Lead compliance governance reviews and country compliance assessments.
• Oversee statutory reporting, recordkeeping and employment obligations.
• Partner with Legal and Employee Relations on regulatory matters.
• Drive standardized, harmonized HR operational processes and onboarding/offboarding.
• Support country and regional audits and documentation maintenance.
• Coordinate internal and external HR audits and remediation efforts.
• Manage vendor oversight for HR services and compliance activities.
• Lead APJ compliance initiatives and HR transformation projects.
