Job summary

Fiserv seeks an experienced HR Manager to act as a trusted advisor to APJ business leaders, aligning people strategies with growth and organizational effectiveness across multiple markets. You will partner with management to drive talent development, engagement, and workforce planning in a complex multinational environment.

The role covers strategic and operational HR support, change management, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with local employment laws while collaborating with COEs

Qualifications

• Japanese proficiency (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, and handling complex workplace matters.
• Ability to align HR strategies and initiatives with business goals.
• Excellent stakeholder management in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with HR data, insights, and HRIS platforms such as Workday.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support objectives, growth plans and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic HR guidance and coaching to managers on talent management, performance and workforce planning.
• Lead organizational design, change management and business transformation initiatives.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary cases, and ensure compliance with local laws.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning and leadership development to build a strong pipeline.
• Utilize HR metrics to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
• Ensure governance and compliance across multiple countries in the APJ region.
• Organise and run employee engagement and CSR activities.
• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, development, engagement and offboarding.
