Job summary

Sanofi Aventis Singapore Pte. Ltd is seeking a Production Chemist to provide technical and process support for API manufacturing, working with the Production team to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.

The role applies chemistry and chemical engineering principles to troubleshoot issues, improve robustness, optimize quality and yield, and support lifecycle management of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.
• Hands-on experience in a process support or development laboratory preferred.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical and process support for API manufacturing operations.
• Optimize and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, robustness and yield.
• Troubleshoot chemical processing and manufacturing issues and support timely resolution to minimise operational impact.
• Lead CPV and trend analysis of CPPs, CQAs and process yield.
• Develop and implement process robustness strategies with CI, Quality and MSAT.
• Support RCA for process robustness deviations using DMAIC.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and process operations.
• Participate in technology transfer of chemical processes to/from other sites.
• Support safety reviews, HSE & compliance activities.
