Job summary

Deutsche Bank is seeking a Vice President to lead eDiscovery service delivery in Singapore and across APAC. The role combines end-to-end matter oversight with stakeholder management, risk ownership, governance, and technology enablement.

You will coordinate regional and global teams, drive defensible practices, and ensure compliance with data privacy and cross-border requirements, while coaching colleagues and promoting standardisation across the function.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in technology, law or information governance.
• Experience leading complex, time-critical legal/regulatory matters in a controlled organisation.
• Strong knowledge of the eDiscovery lifecycle including preservation, collection, processing and review.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Purview eDiscovery, Relativity or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex matters as senior contact for control functions through preservation, collection, QC and secure delivery.
• Define defensible scope: custodians, sources, date ranges, search, privacy and cost decisions.
• Own delivery: set plans, priorities, dependencies and escalation routes for high-risk matters.
• Maintain defensibility and control: validated methods, chain-of-custody, audit trails and remediation.
• Strengthen governance and performance: use SLA, capacity, demand, backlog and cost measures to improve outcomes.
• Enable technology change: represent eDiscovery needs in new applications and platform enhancements.
• Manage technology and sensitive data across Purview, Relativity and related platforms with compliance obligations.
• Lead improvement and people: coach colleagues and advance operating model, automation and standardisation.
