Job summary

Global logistics leader in APAC seeks an experienced APAC Procurement Lead to establish and drive procurement excellence across Singapore, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Malaysia. The role focuses on sourcing strategy, governance, and cost optimisation while partnering with senior stakeholders across the region.

Key requirements include 5+ years in strategic sourcing with APAC exposure and Mandarin language capability to engage with suppliers in China.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing and APAC procurement experience.
• Experience in governance, category management, supplier management, and contract management.
• Mandarin language capability required to engage with suppliers across China.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement governance, policies, controls, and best practices across APAC.
• Drive spend visibility, category management, and sourcing strategies to optimise costs and supplier performance.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing and tender processes across multiple countries.
• Develop and maintain supplier performance frameworks, KPIs, risk assessments, and review processes.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, renewals, compliance, and commercial risk mitigation.
• Deliver procurement analytics, reporting, savings tracking, and actionable insights for decision-making.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and regional units to drive procurement transformation.
