Job summary

Smart IMS Inc. is seeking an experienced Technology Risk & Controls Specialist to join the APAC Risk & Controls function in Singapore, supporting a leading global investment banking client.

This second-line role focuses on identifying, assessing, and remediating technology risks across a complex banking technology environment, with an emphasis on challenging effectively, driving remediation, and ensuring proper ownership and closure of risks.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience in technology risk, IT audit, or controls within banking/financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory risk frameworks and remediation.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders professionally with evidence-based rationale.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology risk assessments and RCSA activities across applications.
• Identify control weaknesses and remediation plans, and validate closure.
• Monitor risk issues and escalate material exposures to senior management.
• Maintain governance documentation and drive improvements in risk processes.
• Support remediation of audit and regulatory findings to sustainable closure.
