Job summary

Smart IMS Inc. is hiring an IT Risk & Control Specialist in Singapore to support a global investment bank. You will oversee risk framework implementation, governance routines, and escalation of technology risk issues, acting as a risk culture ambassador.

You will drive risk engagement, QA testing, and mitigation strategies, while coordinating with senior stakeholders and regulators across APAC. The role emphasizes collaboration with GCIBT teams and regulatory exam readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT risk auditing or control within banking/financial institutions.
• Experience 4–6+ years and a Bachelor's degree in IT.
• Relevant experience in executing Risk initiatives within a tech risk function, compliance or technology audit role.
• Possess IT Risk Audit or Control experience in the payments domain.
• Possess risk experience in Application Control Testing.
• Experience in leading programs for identifying regulatory risk exposure and potential non-compliant areas.
• Knowledge of APAC regulations & understanding of regulatory risk management preferred.
• Confidence and assertiveness to influence stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive risk engagement & management and issue identification; end-to-end risk management including ERP, RCSA, eRIC, SIAI, JDI, AIAI and RIAI.
• Drive QA testing, Business Continuity for applications, Sustainability Program and new toolset adoption with JIRA for Risk management.
• Manage senior stakeholders communication and reporting
• Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies
• Foster the Identify, Escalate, Debate risk culture
• Assess regulatory changes impacting technology and operations and drive related risk mitigation programs with stakeholders
• Collaborate across GCIBT application groups to respond to internal/external audits and regulatory inquiries
• Assist business/process owners with remediating significant risks including audit issues
• Identify opportunities for enhancing risk management processes across divisions
