Job summary

Baker McKenzie in Singapore seeks an experienced tax lawyer to lead regional knowledge initiatives across APAC. You will collaborate with practice leadership to develop content, train lawyers, and drive the adoption of AI and legal technology to enhance client service.

You will coordinate cross-jurisdiction know-how, manage training programs, create playbooks, and oversee client-facing knowledge content such as alerts and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree and practising certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong technical expertise in tax law, ideally with cross-border APAC exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a multicultural, multi-jurisdictional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality knowledge support to enhance the quality, consistency, and value of tax advice across the region.
• Lead or coordinate training for lawyers on internal systems and research tools.
• Develop practical tools (checklists, playbooks) to support consistent cross-jurisdiction advice.
