Job summary

Airbus Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Strategic Buyer to manage RFQs and POs, lead end-to-end sourcing projects, and negotiate contracts across the Singapore operations under the GP framework. The role acts as a strategic partner to internal customers, mentors others, and supports regional APAC initiatives.

You will drive supplier relationships, ensure GP process compliance, and contribute to sustainable, cost-effective procurement across divisions in the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of contract and contract monitoring experience.
• Good analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, SAP, Coupa, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial, outcome-oriented and persistent with the ability to operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFQs, validation and issuance of POs.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects including tenders and cross-border initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate contracts to mitigate risks.
• Partner with internal customers to lead teams and implement procurement strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive value while minimizing TCO and risks.
• Drive regional sourcing initiatives and reporting using GP tools.
• Mentor buyers in Recruitment Process Outsourcing and related areas.
• Support APAC HO GP regional change management and governance.
