Job summary

Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Executive (Indirect Materials & Services Procurement) to ensure a reliable supply of indirect materials and services for Singapore operations, upholding specifications, standards and ethics. The role addresses supplier qualifications, specifications, certifications, and performance while supporting APAC procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree is required; CPSM certification is an added advantage.
Five+ years of procurement experience, preferably in chemicals/FMCG within an MNC.
Experience in logistics procurement, including freight sourcing.
Strong working knowledge of SAP Purchasing module.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to operate in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Lead RFQ/Tender processes: document preparation, tender briefing, invitations, and evaluations.
Develop contracting plans and negotiate terms with suppliers; coordinate with legal.
Manage supplier qualifications, performance reviews, and annual audits in Singapore.
Collaborate with QA and technical teams on packaging/quality issues and source qualification.
Drive initiatives to improve cost, lead time, and supplier performance for IMS goals.
