Visa Asia Pacific Legal seeks a Senior Associate Counsel, Products and Solutions, to support Visa’s core business and evolving products across regions. You will provide practical legal advice on payment technologies, regulatory issues and commercial agreements, reporting to the VP, Legal, Asia Pacific.

The role covers contracts, regulatory guidance, and collaboration with product teams and regional stakeholders. Travel may be required; Singapore-based with in-office presence a few days weekly.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years post-qualification experience in payments and/or technology-related transactions.
• Strong knowledge of IP matters, tech/marketing contracts.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Admission to practise law in a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Good knowledge of laws for financial, digital, payment services across Asian jurisdictions.
• Ability to manage complex commercial and tech transactions, including international agreements.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to accuracy and risk.
• Ability to work independently and engage with executive stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design, structure and develop contracts for Visa products and initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial, technology and strategic partnership agreements.
• Provide regulatory advice related to Visa products and solutions.
• Advise business/product teams on legal risks and commercial structures.
• Support wallet partnerships, tokenization, AI and digital assets initiatives.
• Develop innovative contracting models for product expansion and changes.
• Review legal documents for drafting accuracy and risk.
