Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Regulatory and Litigation Counsel for APAC Investigations and Enforcement in Singapore. The role focuses on defending Google in responses to governments and regulators, crafting defense strategies, conducting investigations, and coordinating information collection for submissions.

Qualifications

• JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Admitted to the bar in the location or authorized to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
• Experience advising technology product teams or business teams on legal and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and overlapping civil matters.
• Oversee the collection and production of accurate information in external submissions and disclosures.
• Provide legal advice on government and regulatory audits and exams.
• Formulate regional litigation strategies to defend the company against high-stakes legal challenges in the APAC region.
