Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Regional Resilience Lead to drive resilience capabilities for APAC, focusing on Australia and Singapore. You will oversee incident management, regulatory engagement, and the continuous improvement of recovery plans across functions and suppliers.

You will partner with regional and global teams to uplift resilience maturity, manage risk, and report progress to executive committees while ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations.

• Experience in operational resilience and incident management concepts.
• Exposure to regulatory expectations and governance frameworks.
• Ability to drive cross-functional resilience initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to communicate risk to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Regional Resilience Lead for Australia and Singapore, partnering with APAC teams.
• Regulatory, audit and governance demand across resilience domains.
• Emerging risk and horizon scanning to anticipate threats.
• Standardisation and optimisation of response and recovery plans.
• Assurance and quality checks with Risk and Controls functions.
• Delivery of cross-function resilience projects and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with global resilience teams on programme framework and testing.
• Engage with senior regional Management on resilience topics and governance.
• Provide leadership and drive continuous improvement in resilience.
• Communicate resilience position to Boards and executives with clear metrics.
